This book covers the later years of World War II and contains a large number of orders from Queen Mary including for mounting and making up of her own embroideries. In addition there are orders from the Norwegian Navy, the Dutch Air Force and Baron Bernhard a US, Jewish Tobacco manufacturer and philanthropist as well as Virginia Courtauld, who ordered a 'counted design' cushion of the 'Versailles Tree' pattern for her renovated Eltham Palace.
