Design with flower and leaf border including cornflowers, daisies and peonies, central urn shaped pot with flowers probably peony/cornflower/daisy and bird, notations read 'S.R.', 'RSAN' and 'Not' underlined at the bottom. The format suggests possibly a design for a book cover but could be some other rectangular embroidered object. The annotation 'Not' suggests it was part of a decision making process like the design cards collection that acted as a catalogue for customers, this is probably a traced design produced by the Paintroom as part of the design and commissioning process.
